They discovered that leather could protect them from certain forces of nature; so these men made animal skin into clothes and footwear. However, since the animal scraps easily decompose, they have to fabricate another form which is almost non-perishable. Hence, the invention came from a tree material in which leather can be transformed into something very durable and long lasting. Since then, the popularity of leather usage has not died down.

The fashion industry uses leather scraps to produce expensive purses, shoes, clothes, and even the lingerie. Needless to say, lingerie was one of the first products to have used leather as the main material; and up to now, leather lingerie has become one of the finest, erotic and expensive creations.

There are various leather lingerie types, and they come in the form of brassiere, panties, men's briefs, boxers, and fitting corsets and camisoles. Some of the items use only ample amounts of leather such as those seen in straps, crotches, and fasteners; others however use purely leathered undergarments. Leather lingerie is more durable than the laces and ruffles which are shown to be the usual stuff in the lingerie business. However, one needs to have an almost perfect trim before considering buying one since it is a highly shaping material. Also, consider the environment around you. If it's too hot a climate, then it is greatly recommended to think twice before making the purchase. Remember, leather is leather; and it doesn't allow air to breathe in.
